“I have been active in local politics for 25 years or so. I’ve managed a few campaigns, mostly successful, and I am currently a PCO, (precinct committee officer), and a ballot watcher in my red county deep inside a blue curtain state.

I bought this book. I have many books on political strategy including Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and I even use Sun Tzu’s “Art of War” and modified the 6 Principles of War when running campaigns. You cannot have enough reference materials, I don’t care how accomplished and smart you are, there’s always something more to learn or a technique you can develop that makes you more competitive.
